I've known of DA for quite a few years. I was hesitant in joining because I never considered myself talented. I never had any formal lessons in the fine arts and the things I created where never really beautiful.

The arts was just a hobby for me. Lugging around a sketchpad with me everywhere I go. Usually using cheap pencils and oil pastels. Drawing anything I find interesting.

These past few years, it has developed into something bigger. It has become a passion. I realized that I wanted to improve my "skill" or "talent" or whatever it's called. That is what I perceived DA offers. Having a international stage where people from all walks of life see you express yourself with media and having them critique your work. It was the perfect opportunity.

So far, the three days that I have been a member have been extraordinary. I still can't get over the fact that some people actually appreciate my work and seeing all the masterpiece of various deviants have been awe inspiring.
